1. The directory information

Publication details are researched from publishers’ own portfolios, official websites and current editions, as described on the methodology page. Print markets change quickly, so details are provided for planning and must be reconfirmed before you commit to a campaign. Print orders are shown only as stated by the publisher and are not audited circulation.

2. Quote requests are not bookings

Submitting the quote form asks the AdvertiseHere media desk to obtain availability and a price. It does not create a booking, reserve space or oblige you to buy. Prices, sizes, deadlines and acceptance of an advert are set by the publisher and apply only once confirmed in writing.

3. Bookings

If you book, the booking is governed by the insertion order and the advertising terms of the publisher or its authorised sales representative, which you should read before approving. Artwork must meet the publisher’s specifications and advertising standards, and you remain responsible for the content and lawfulness of your advert.

4. Acceptable use

• Use the quote form only for genuine advertising enquiries, with accurate contact details.
• Do not submit unlawful, misleading or infringing material, or attempt to overload, probe or bypass the site’s security.
• Automated copying of the directory that degrades the service, or republishing it as a competing database, is not permitted.

5. Intellectual property

Publication names, mastheads and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown to identify the titles; their display does not imply endorsement. The site’s text, design, structure and compilation are protected by copyright. You may link to any page and quote short extracts with attribution.

6. Third-party websites and documents

Links to publishers’ websites, rate cards and media kits open documents controlled by those publishers. AdvertiseHere does not control or guarantee their content and links them as published.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act where it applies, AdvertiseHere is not liable for loss arising from reliance on directory information that has changed, from a publisher’s decision to accept, price, place or run an advert, or from interruptions to the website. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Privacy

How quote details are collected, shared with the relevant publisher and deleted is explained in the privacy and POPIA notice.

9. Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the date above shows the latest version. They are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
